Pictures Independence Day Parade Ajijic 2014

The month of September in Lake Chapala is filled with events, traditions and celebrations. In a four day period we participated in the “Regatta de Globos Event“, which took place on Saturday September 13th 2014, the Reboso Parade tradition, which took place Monday September 14th 2014, the GRITO where the official celebration takes place celebrating Mexican Independence day the night before, and to wrap things up the Independence day parade which starts early morning on the 16th of September. All the local schools practice for weeks preparing for the parade and it shows in their dedication.

Below are the pictures of this years independence day parade,which always ends at the local Ajijic plaza.
