Going on its 41st year, the Ajijic Chili Cook Off started with a bang in the Tobolandia water park February 15th 2019. Huge turnouts as usual and no participant was disappointed, it is considered as one of the biggest events in Lake Chapala. Keep in mind it dates back to 1978, this gives you an understanding on how strong the expat community actually is and how long traditions in the Lake Chapala have lasted and have endured during the years.
