Access Lake Chapala is proud to sponsor some of the most beautiful traditions Lake Chapala has. We know that the Lakeside area is known for its low cost of living and close to perfect weather. These are some of the main ingredients that makes this area so “magical”. There are two important factors many people forget and that we must always remember, its traditions and people. This is what keeps the area so unique! If you let the towns traditions fade away, this beautiful community that so many expats call home will start to transition into a city with forgotten traditions. Access Lake Chapala is commuted to keeping these traditions alive, this is why every year we donate to the Lakeside committees that make sure these events run keep going. This is our way of giving back to the community and making sure that the area we all love and live in stays unique.

Lakeside area has different types of community events, some organized by expats such as the Chilli Cook Off and others traditional Mexican events that have been taking place for decades such as the “Ajijic Fiestas”.
